Fancy text styles for Instagram, TikTok and bios

Font Generator: Make Your Bio Stand Out

Your text converts into 15 styles at once — copy the one you like with a click.

Those eye-catching letters in Instagram bios, TikTok names and WhatsApp statuses aren't actually fonts — they're special character sets from the Unicode standard. These so-called mathematical alphabets (𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐝, 𝓬𝓾𝓻𝓼𝓲𝓿𝓮, 𝔤𝔬𝔱𝔥𝔦𝔠) work on every platform because they're plain text, not styling — you can copy and paste them anywhere. This tool converts your text into 15 styles simultaneously: bold, italic, cursive, gothic, bubble, squares, typewriter, upside down and more. A button beside each row copies that style with one click. Accented characters (é, ñ, ü) have no equivalents in the mathematical alphabets, so they stay unchanged — mixing them with styled Latin letters still looks great.

Fancy Text Guide

How it works

  • Styles are Unicode characters, not fonts (𝐀 ≠ A)
  • Once copied, they look the same in every app
  • Mathematical alphabets: bold, italic, script, fraktur, double-struck
  • Upside-down text uses special mappings plus reversed order

Where to use it

  • Instagram bios and story text
  • TikTok names and captions
  • WhatsApp statuses and messages
  • Gaming nicknames and forum signatures

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do these letters work everywhere?

Because they're real characters from the Unicode standard, not fonts. The letter 𝐀 is a different character from A and renders the same regardless of the platform's typeface — which is why copy-paste works in every app.

Why don't accented characters change in some styles?

Unicode's mathematical alphabets only cover basic Latin letters (A-Z); é, ñ, ü and similar have no styled equivalents. The tool keeps them as-is — with the rest of the word styled, the result still looks distinctive.

Does fancy text hurt SEO or accessibility?

Screen readers may spell these characters out one by one or skip them entirely, so avoid them in website headings. For social bios and nicknames they're fine.

How do I use fancy text on Instagram?

Type your text here, hit Copy next to the style you like, then paste it into Edit profile → Bio. The same works for captions and stories — usernames are the exception, as they only allow standard letters.

How is upside-down text made?

Each letter is swapped for a Unicode character that looks inverted (a→ɐ, e→ǝ), and the string order is reversed. The result reads as if you'd flipped your phone.

Is my text stored anywhere?

No. The entire conversion runs in your browser; nothing is sent to any server. Your last text is remembered only on your own device so you can pick up where you left off.
