Add Watermark to Image

Protect your photos with a text or logo watermark — right in your browser

Add a Watermark to Your Photos

Text or logo, one corner or the whole image — in full resolution

A watermark helps protect your photos and designs from being reused without credit. Drop an image, then add a text watermark such as “© Your Name” or upload your logo (a transparent PNG works best). Place it in any of nine positions — corners, edges or center — or switch on the tile mode to repeat it diagonally across the whole photo, which is much harder to crop out. Adjust size, opacity and angle with the sliders and see every change instantly. The final image is saved at its original resolution and format (JPG, PNG or WebP). Everything happens in your browser: your photos are never uploaded.

Watermark Tips

Good settings

  • Corner watermark: 4–6% size, 50–70% opacity
  • Tiled pattern: 3–5% size, 15–30% opacity, −30° angle
  • White text with a soft shadow reads on most photos
  • Use a transparent PNG logo so its background does not show

Where to use it

  • Portfolio and photography samples
  • Product photos for marketplaces
  • Real-estate and rental listings
  • Documents and IDs you share (e.g. "Only for XYZ application")

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I add a watermark to a photo?

Drop your photo, type your text or choose a logo, pick a position (or tile) and adjust size and opacity. Then download the image — that is it.

Can I add my logo as a watermark?

Yes. Switch to “Logo” and choose your logo file. A PNG with a transparent background gives the cleanest result.

What does tile mode do?

It repeats the watermark diagonally over the whole image. This makes it much harder to remove by cropping, which is useful for previews you send to clients.

Does adding a watermark reduce quality?

No. The watermark is drawn on the original pixels and the image is saved at full resolution; JPG and WebP are saved at high quality (92%).

Are my photos uploaded?

No. The image is processed in your browser with a canvas and saved directly to your device.

Can I watermark a copy of my ID safely?

Yes — add a tiled text such as “Only for [purpose] – [date]” at low opacity. It discourages misuse while keeping the document readable.
