This signature generator gives you two ways to create a signature. In Type mode, enter your name and choose from 10 handwriting fonts (Dancing Script, Great Vibes, Sacramento, Allura and more), then adjust the ink colour and size. In Draw mode, sign on the pad with a mouse, touchpad, stylus or finger; strokes are smoothed automatically and you can undo the last line. The result is exported at 3× resolution as a PNG with a transparent background, cropped tightly around the signature, so it sits cleanly on documents, PDFs and email footers. Tick White background if you need an opaque image. Everything happens in your browser: the signature is never sent to a server.

Using Your Signature
Where to add it
- Word / Google Docs: Insert → Image, then set text wrapping to “In front of text”
- PDF: use the “Fill & Sign” or “Add image” tool of your PDF reader
- Email: add the PNG to your signature settings (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail)
- Scanned forms: place the transparent PNG over the signature line
Tips for a good result
- Blue ink is a common way to show a signature is an original, not a copy
- Draw slowly on a phone held in landscape for smoother lines
- Use 48–64 px for typed names; the PNG is exported at 3× size
- Keep a copy of the PNG in a private folder, not in shared drives
Frequently Asked Questions
Is a signature made here legally binding?
An image of your signature is a simple electronic signature. Many everyday agreements accept it, but contracts that require a qualified or advanced electronic signature (or a wet signature) need a certified e-signature service. Check the requirements of the document you are signing.
Is my signature saved or uploaded?
No. The image is drawn on a canvas in your browser and downloaded directly to your device. Only your settings (font, colour, name) are remembered locally in your browser.
How do I get a transparent background?
It is the default. Leave “White background” unticked and the PNG will have a transparent background, so only the ink shows on top of your document.
Can I draw my signature on a phone?
Yes. Switch to Draw mode and sign with your finger or a stylus. Scrolling is disabled inside the pad so the page does not move while you sign.
Why does Copy image not work?
Copying images to the clipboard needs a recent browser and a secure connection. If your browser blocks it, use Download PNG and insert the file instead.
Which fonts look most like a real signature?
Great Vibes, Alex Brush, Allura and Sacramento look like elegant cursive; Homemade Apple and Caveat look more like quick everyday handwriting.
